The Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board will meet this Friday 26 July at 9am in the Papanui boardroom. The agenda includes: the new Council-Community Board Governance Partnership Agreement and delegations; five applications to the Board’s Youth Development Fund; and an Area Report on initiatives and issues current within the Community Board area. Foodstuffs' resource consent application for a new PAK'nSAVE supermarket and fuel station on their Main North Road site has been publicly notified and is open for submissions until 16 August. The proposed development includes the addition of a signalised intersection on Main North Road between Cranford Road and Northcote Road/ QEII Drive. See these images for an overview. Main North Road is fully open again at Prestons Road. Think Papanui understands that the no exit from Prestons Rd into Main North Rd will remain for another three weeks. Also, take care in the fog this morning.

Redwood Library will be closed for maintenance for a month after next Saturday 27 July 2019. As part of a planned schedule of Christchurch library repairs and rebuilds, Redwood Library will receive a new heating & ventilation system, roof repairs, and other minor repairs and refurbishments through the building.
