The Government requires Councils to review waste management and minimisation plans every six years. Christchurch’s plan and policies have been reviewed, and the Council is now seeking feedback, including on:
- separate glass collection and processing;
- repurposing unwanted household goods;
- and a dedicated litter team.
Draft policies on litter & illegal dumping, and community waste disposal, are also open for feedback.
