NZ Post stores in Papanui and Redwood to close

The Papanui NZ Post store has been hosted at the Papanui Library and Service Centre

NZ Post stores in Papanui and Redwood will be closed in the coming months as part of changes that will “help to ensure NZ Post’s urban retail network has the right number of stores with the right service offerings in the right locations”, it was announced yesterday.

The two stores are among 142 urban retail partner stores nationwide where NZ Post services will be removed, and are expected to close in May 2026. The closest remaining NZ Post stores to the Papanui area will be the partner stores in Northwood and Bishopdale.

For more information see NZ Post’s media release.

The Redwood NZ Post store has been hosted by the Redwood Mini Market
