As reported in this article, the project is hold due to access and design issues with KiwiRail. Cranford Street and Main North Road – speed limit change

[ad_1]
Have your say on a proposed speed limit change on Cranford Street and Main North Road. The Christchurch City Council is proposing a change from 60km/hr to 50km/hr for Cranford Street, and also for the section of Main North Road around the Cranford / QEII Drive area. (The background to this proposal is a recent discovery that there are conflicting gazetted speeds at the Main North/Northcote/QE II Drive intersection, and also some of the adjoining roads are not aligned with NZTA’s safe speed recommendations.) This proposal is open for feedback until 14 May 2018. Click through for more information and an online feedback form.
