At the 2 October meeting, the Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board: heard from a resident in relation to the Erica Lodge Resource Consent application; and received a briefing on the proposed change to the District Plan in relation to the extension of the Homebase retail development. The submissions committee of the Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board will meet this Friday 9 October at 10am in the Papanui boardroom, to formulate submissions on: bus stop changes at The Palms; the Colombo St cycle connection; and the proposed District Plan change relating to short-term accommodation such as Air BnB. A Bottle-O for Papanui? The Council’s District Licencing Committee has received an application for a new off-licence, to operate as Bottle-O Papanui at 30 Main North Road (next door to the Rose and Thistle). Proposed hours of operation are Monday to Sunday from 10am to 10pm. See the Council’s public notice for more information, including the process for lodging objections.
