Earthquake prone buildings: Council seeks feedback

The Christchurch City Council is seeking feedback on proposed strategic routes and high pedestrian and vehicular traffic areas in metropolitan Christchurch. These routes and areas will be used to prioritise the repair or demolition of earthquake-prone buildings. 12 October Board meeting outcomes

At the 12 October meeting, the Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board: heard presentations from several young people who have been supported with funding from the Board; approved four proposals for stopping/parking changes, including for the intersection of Windermere Rd / St James Ave / Blighs Rd; and received the Area Report, which has information on initiatives and issues within the Community Board area.
