Good news for residents impacted by CNC traffic noise: from this Sunday 13 February, work will be underway to install the low noise asphalt surface on the CNC between QEII Drive and the Pūharakekenui Styx River bridge. This work will be done at night and will involve CNC closures and detours between 8pm to 6am. Around the end of February work will move to the northern end of the CNC, followed by the remaining sections. This work is weather dependant so there may be some delays or date changes.
