Marble Wood Drive is a cul-de-sac which has unrestricted on-street parking. During the week the street is fully parked for most of the day.

This week's Nor'West News appears to mis-report the outcome of last Friday's Community Board meeting. Contrary to what's in the paper this week, Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board deputy chair Emma Norrish advises that the Board has not approved the proposed Main North Road bus priority project, and that the Board will revisit the project at a later meeting. (Also, the Board is due to meet today 29 August, specifically to deal with Strengthening Communities funding decisions.)

At today’s Papanui Innes Community Board meeting we received the petition from 9 year old Shannon asking for a pump track in Shirley, and requested staff to come back to us with a report on this.
We then heard deputations from three submitters on the Main North Rd bus priority project, before spending a considerable amount of time hearing from staff about the proposal. Board members aired a number of concerns and had a number of questions about the project which were discussed with staff, but…

The Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board will meet this Friday at 9am in the Papanui boardroom. The agenda includes: a report from Council staff on the proposed Main North Road Bus Priority project; road names for a new subdivision in Belfast; approval of grants from the Strengthening Communities Fund totalling $147,643; establishment of a Positive Youth Development Fund for 2018/19; a funding application from the North-West Collective (which staff recommend the Board declines); and funding applications from three other community groups (recommended for approval). At the 10 August meeting, the Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board: received a briefing on options regarding the enhancement of the Edgeware Village area; approved the continuation of heavy vehicle restrictions for Mary, Proctor, and Grassmere Streets; and approved two grants from the Board’s Discretionary Response Fund.
