Board submits on Council consultations
On 9 October the submissions committee of the Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board met to formulate submissions on three Council consultations: bus stop changes at The Palms; the Colombo St cycle route connection, and the proposed District Plan changes relating to short-term accommodation. Erica Lodge: resource consent hearing underway
Erica Lodge update: Commissioner Ken Lawn has just opened the hearing panel considering the Resource Consent application for Erica Lodge – the proposed boarding house at the former Wendover Rest Home. Also on the panel are Community Board members Alexandra Davids and Lee Sampson. Two days have been allowed for the hearing, being held at Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre.

The Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board will meet this Friday at 9:15am in the Papanui boardroom. The agenda includes: the design of Cranford Street between Innes Rd & Berwick St (including options for a clearway, HOV lane or bus only lane); an application to the Board’s Positive Youth Development Fund; 27 applications for ‘Summer with your Neighbours’ funding; and an area report covering initiatives and issues current within the Board area.
