Cycle skills for adults: 4 November

Do you want to get pedalling with more confidence? Go Cycle Christchurch is offering a free cycle skills session for adults at Rutland Reserve on Thursday 4 November. See the Go Cycle Christchurch Facebook event for more details:

Shake that nervousness and join us for this free session to learn & practice better cycle skills to enjoy a safer ride around beautiful Christchurch!
We will have fun practicing corners, looking behind, left/right signalling, safe stopping and avoiding hazards in a car free environment for about an hour.
Then we practice on quieter neighbourhood roads….. if you are ready 😉
To secure one of the limited free paces, register via email GoCycleChristchurch@gmail.com or mobile 021 0277 9250.
All you need to bring is your bike, helmet and determination to learn new skills. No special clothing needed, just wear comfortable clothes to suit the weather.
You will be responsible for your own safety, so please make sure your bike is in good working order (we will not be able to do repairs).
Meeting place: Rutland Reserve, St Albans (by Paparoa St. School boundary)
If the weather is wet on the day this session will be postponed to our next event – those registered will be contacted directly if there are any changes.
Let’s get you pedalling with more confidence 😉
