Work is about to start to apply the final seal and low-noise asphalt on the Christchurch Northern Corridor (CNC) and QEII Drive. Weather permitting, night work to apply chip seal will start this Sunday 31 October, and low noise asphalting around the end of November. The CNC section through Redwood has first priority.
It is expected to take until March 2022 to complete all surfacing work on the CNC from Cranford St to the Waimakariri Bridge and on QEII Drive from Main North Rd to Innes Rd.
