The Christchurch City Council is consulting on proposed transport projects in the Cranford Street area, downstream of the Christchurch Northern Corridor. This follows two previous rounds of consultation on the development of the Downstream Effects Management Plan (DEMP). Click through for details, including information on road & intersection upgrades, cycle connections, parking changes, 40km/h speed zones, traffic calming, and more.
There is a lot of detail in this proposal, so you might like to download a PDF copy of the consultation booklet, or pick up a printed copy (should be available at Council service centres and libraries). There are also two drop-in information sessions at St Albans School Hall, 5pm-7pm on August 6th and 8th. Think Papanui will review the detail of the proposed projects and post some more info during the consultation period. The package of proposals is open for public feedback until 19 August 2019.
