Regular bus timetables resume

Christchurch’s public transport services will return to regular timetables on Monday 11 May, and the central city bus interchange will reopen. Capacity on busses is currently reduced to meet physical distancing requirements, and fares on all services are free under COVID-19 Level 3. Click through for more information:

Major intersection works start in St Albans

Take care if you’re driving in the St Albans area – four major intersection upgrades are underway as part of the work to manage traffic downstream of the Christchurch Northern Corridor. Changes include the closure of Westminster Street will be closed at both sides of the Cranford Street intersection for the next 4 weeks, and the permanent closure of Forfar St on the north side of the Warrington St intersection.
