Papanui High School’s online 2017 Senior Art Auction is underway. Click through to view artworks and perhaps place a bid. The auction will finish at the end of the school’s Senior Exhibition, at 8:30pm on Friday 27th October.



The annual PHS ART AUCTION is live! There are well over 100 items available for sale and they make great Christmas Gifts, just click the link to view and bid.

Proceeds go to the students and the Visual Arts Council.

Northcote ‘Because We Care’ event – Fri 27 October

A reminder that this event is happening next Friday 27 October, from 3pm. There’s still time to get orders in for $5 hāngi – pop in to Northcote School and see the staff in the office. Come down to our FREE local event for Northcote.
We will have heaps of free actvitivties for all the whanau, pre-schoolers to our older persons! We will have a stage and there will be local acts including Northcote School, Zion Dance Crew and Casebrook School band.
We have $5 Hangi, the cheapest in town and is being oragnised by Te Ora Hou Otautahi. If you want a hangi at this price contact Joss for more details 022 657 3641 OR Northcote School after the holidays. There are only limited numbers so get in quick!

Celebrate Bishopdale! 2017

Celebrate Bishopdale is a local festival happening in Bishopdale Park on 19 November, with stage performers, activities for children, local community groups and market stalls. This is the 5th year of our local festival. There will be stage performers, lots of activities for children, local community groups and market stalls to browse and shop for your Christmas presents!

Celebrate Bishopdale is organised by the Christchurch City Council’s Fendalton/Waimairi Community Governance staff in partnership with the Bishopdale Community Trust. The event is funded by the Fendalton/Waimairi Community Board.

We aren’t accepting any commercial food vendors as this event is a local event and for fundraising.
