Erica Lodge update: Commissioner Ken Lawn has just opened the hearing panel considering the Resource Consent application for Erica Lodge – the proposed boarding house at the former Wendover Rest Home. Also on the panel are Community Board members Alexandra Davids and Lee Sampson. Two days have been allowed for the hearing, being held at Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre.

At the 2 October meeting, the Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board: heard from a resident in relation to the Erica Lodge Resource Consent application; and received a briefing on the proposed change to the District Plan in relation to the extension of the Homebase retail development.
