Alert level change prompts postponement of drop-in sessions

The Wheels to Wings drop-in information session planned for tomorrow 16 February at the Papanui RSA has been postponed. Council are expected to advise a new date/time/venue once we return to Alert Level 1.

The Christchurch City Council's Strengthening Comm The Christchurch City Council's Strengthening Communities Fund supports community-focused organisations whose projects contribute to the strengthening of community wellbeing in the Christchurch city area. Applications to the fund open today Monday 8 March and close on 12 April. Decision-making on city-wide projects is handled by a Council committee, while local applications will be presented to the relevant Community Board. The Wheels to Wings drop-in session planned for th The Wheels to Wings drop-in session planned for this Thursday has been postponed until next week, and the consultation period has been extended through to 15 March. The final drop-in session is now set down for 11am to 3pm on Thursday 11 March at the Bishopdale YMCA. This session will go ahead if we are still in Alert Level 2. See link in bio for more info.

There's only small number of items on the agenda, which includes: a report back from a young person supported by a grant from the Board; a proposed road name for a development in Bridgend; and minutes from the previous Board meeting and Submissions Committee meeting.
