An experienced walk leader takes the group on 30-40 minute walk, which is aimed at encouraging local people to get active and find out what is in their local community. At last week’s meeting, the Papanui-Innes Community Board allocated Strengthening Communities Funding to a big list of local community groups, including larger sums to Belfast Community Network, The Neighbourhood Trust, Shirley Community Trust, Te Ora Hou Otautahi, Northgate Community Services Trust, Papanui Baptist Freedom Trust, Papanui Youth Development Trust, and Te Puna Oraka – Early Years Services.
