Langdons Road is set for a makeover in 2027, with the road to be resealed once water pipes have been replaced as part of the Northwest water and roading upgrade programme.
As part of these works, the Council is proposing on-road cycle lanes to connect with the Northern Line Cycleway, and new bus stops to support a proposed future bus route along Langdons Road.
Our bus operator Ecan advises that they have heard from the community that there is interest in providing better public transport connections to Northlink, Braintree Wellness Centre and other nearby amenities. If the proposed stops are supported, they could enable options for a future bus service along Langdons Road to be explored. Any future service would depend on further investigation, available funding and the necessary approvals.
