New traffic islands installed at the Fraser/Cranford intersection

The new traffic islands have been constructed at the Fraser Street / Cranford Street intersection, to keep northbound traffic on Cranford Street separated from right turning traffic from Fraser Street. Is this making it easier/safer to use the intersection?
