Outcomes of 12 December Community Board meeting

On 12 December 2024, the Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central Community Board:

heard four public forum presentations;
approved a $4,000 grant to Shirley Rugby League Football Club, and a $2,408 grant to Papanui Leagues Club;
approved mobility parking at Lancaster Park;
approved no stopping restrictions on Virgil Place;
approved no stopping restrictions for the intersection of Beeston Place & Freebairn Street;
approved a replacement traffic island for Rutland Street at Westminster Street;
approved a $8,000 grant to Community Focus Trust;
approved a $2,000 grant to Kiwi Indians Theatre;
approved an $8,000 grant to Together Diverse;
and received a report on issues and initiatives within the Board area.

The Board is now in recess until its first meeting for 2025, which will be on 13 February in the Papanui Boardroom.
