Level 1 water restrictions have been introduced across Christchurch from today, 14 January. The use of hoses, sprinklers and garden irrigation systems is permitted only on alternate days – even-numbered addresses on even dates, and odd-numbered addresses on odd dates. No water can be used outdoors between 3pm and 9pm. Click through for more information:

T2 lanes, Park & Ride and express bus for CNC
From Monday 11 January 2021, the T2 lanes, the Park & Ride facilities in Kaiapoi and Rangiora, and the new direct bus services between Waimakariri and Christchurch CBD via the Christchurch Northern Corridor will be operational. A trial of peak-hour bus priority lanes on Cranford Street is set to follow in February. Click through for more information:
