Planning approval declined for $50 million Papanui rest home rebuild and expansion

[ad_1]
In the news tonight: “Oceania Healthcare confirmed on Tuesday it would appeal the decision of commissioner Janette Dovey to decline its resource consent application.”

Planning approval declined for $50 million Papanui rest home rebuild and expansion

Good news for all the concerned residents that would have been impacted by this redevelopment. Although rest homes are important and will become increasingly more important in the years to come they need to fit into the existing environment. This is another successful outcome for Papanui residents following last year’s density rezoning decision.
