Minutes from the Papanui-Innes Community Board’s 9 June meeting can be found at the link below. At this meeting the board accepted a number of staff recommendations re traffic & parking, adopted a new Code of Conduct and Standing Orders, and supported applications for grants from the Discretionary Response Fund and Positive Youth Development Fund. The road has now been cleared and restored to all traffic. Thank you for your patience while this diversion was in place. ^JP

The road currently remains closed at this time, while traffic remains heavy in the area congestion is starting to clear. ^JP

We are seeing severe congestion in the wider area at this time.

Motorists are asked to delay their travel and expect delays. ^JP

QEII – CRASH

Due to an accident on Queen Elizabeth II Drive the road is currently closed between Main North Road and Innes Road.

We are seeing severe congestion.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and avoid the area at this time.

Due to a crash, Cranford is closed to southbound traffic at Main North Rd. Northbound travel on Cranford is still possible. Consider using QEII DR (SH74) to Philpotts Rd or Innes Rd for southbound travel or use Papanui Rd. ^SM
