On 11 December 2025, the Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central Community Board:
- received a briefing on upcoming water & roading upgrades in the Papanui area, and also a briefing from the Council’s engagement team;
- approved parking changes in Ryan Street;
- approved an updated detailed design for the community facility at 10 Shirley Road;
- approved the final stage redevelopment plan for Lancaster Park;
- approved the community parks rolling renewal programme;
- approved six applications to the Board’s Discretionary Response Fund;
- adopted a meeting and briefing schedule for the 2025-2028 term, and approved other governance arrangements;
- and received a report on issues and initiatives within the Community Board area.
