At the inaugural meeting on Thursday 6 November, the Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central Community Board elected Sunita Gautam as Chairperson for the first half the 2025-2028 term, and Simon Britten as Chairperson for the second half of the term. Simon will serve as Deputy Chairperson for the first half of the term and Sunita for the second.
The Board also received a report explaining statutory requirements, and scheduled its first ordinary meeting of the term for 4pm on Thursday 11 December in the Papanui boardroom.
