
On Thursday 12 June, the Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central Community Board:
- heard four public forum presentations, and three deputations relating to items on the agenda;
- approved a tree planting plan for Petrie Park, with a request for staff to work with community on the species mix in response to concerns relating to shading on the southern boundary;
- requested advice on renewal and safety improvements for Courtenay Street;
- approved a lease of 20 Templar Street to The Sutton Heritage House and Garden Charitable Trust;
- approved the concept design for play space renewal at Cross Reserve;
- approved a grant to Mairehau Library;
- amended standing orders in relation to notices of motion;
- and received an area report on issues and initiatives within the Board area.
The Board will next meet on 10 July.
