11 April Community Board meeting outcomes

On Thursday 11 April, the Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central Community Board:

heard concerns about speeding and anti-social behaviour on Philpotts Road;
received deputations from St Bede’s and Marian College students in relation to Northcote Road;
approved a grant of $100,000 from its Better-Off Fund to the towards investigations of Northcote Road Corridor Safety Improvements;
approved two other grants from the Better-Off Fund, totalling $48,310;
approved no stopping restrictions for the Gambia Street / Grants Road / Rayburn Avenue intersection;
approved parking changes at Papanui Primary School;
approved parking changes for Chester Street East;
approved no stopping restrictions for Innes Road at Malvern Park;
approved grants to the Edgeware Tennis Club and Morrison Avenue Bowling Club;
and received a report on issues and initiatives within the Board area.
