As of Friday evening around 24 per cent of of eligible Papanui Ward voters have returned their voting papers. There’s one more week to go – people planning to mail back their voting papers for the local elections need to get them in the post by this Tuesday 4 October. If you miss the cut-off for posting your voting papers, you will need to hand deliver them to one of the ballot boxes that have been placed at open Council libraries and service centres and in the ground floor of the Civic Offices in Hereford Street.
