Council to consider Cranford St lanes

The agenda for the Council’s meeting this Thursday 12 November includes a final decision on the layout of Cranford Street between Innes Rd and Berwick St. The Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board has endorsed the current design and supported a view that any future changes should not include a clearway. Other options available to the Council include a clearway for general traffic, a High Occupancy Vehicle lane, or a Bus Only lane. The Council meeting begins at 9:30am and will be live streamed via the Council webpage.

The work was delayed due to the COVID lockdown and couldn’t be done before winter, so has had to wait for the warmer spring weather.
