Decisions included: Blighs Road (extend the no passing line, request a video audit and report back in the new year); Papanui Leagues Club ($15,000 granted towards lighting in Papanui Domain); many other decisions also – see the minutes for details. Plans finalised for two new major cycleways

Northern Line cycleway plans have been finalised by the Major Cycleway Routes Committee. From today’s news release: “The main change to the Northern Line is the alternative route [eg Farnswood Place / Redwood Park] will no longer be required as the Council has been able to confirm with Kiwirail the use of the rail corridor.” Keep an eye out for project updates and photos on Think Papanui once construction gets underway:
