Think Papanui’s curator Simon Britten rounds up stories from the past week:
I posted some photos from the Community Fun Day run by the team at Mitre 10 Mega Papanui.
Progress results in the local body elections were released on the afternoon of Saturday 12 October. I posted the initial results for Papanui Ward and then later in the week the final count. I also presented an election special edition of my weekly news video.
Entries are open in the Papanui-Innes Edible and Sustainable Garden Awards.
Coming up:
- There’ll be a spring market at Aratupu Preschool and Nursery this Saturday 19 October.
- On Sunday 3 November, the Whakaoho Papanui Community Day will be happening at Papanui Domain (with an alternative venue in the event of wet weather).
Feedback is always welcome on Think Papanui’s content, either on Facebook or Instagram, or directly to me.
With warm regards
Simon Britten
