As previously reported, consultation on proposed changes to Cranford Street and the surrounding area has generated more than 400 submissions. The Council has now published a document summarising feedback received, as well as separate documents with all feedback and attachments. The Waipapa/Papanui-Innes Community Board is meeting to hear feedback on Monday 6 August at 9am in the Council Chambers (Hereford Street) – submitters have been notified that they have the opportunity to speak to their feedback at this meeting. Subsequently, a draft Downstream Effects Traffic Mitigation Plan will be developed, and then individual transport projects identified in the Plan will be follow (and likely consulted on?).
