Developers say big indoor sports hub would give needed boost to city sport

[ad_1]
This article in The Press gives an insight into what may be developed in the former Foodstuffs grocery warehouse behind the Northcote / Main North Road intersection – an ‘entertainment and sports terminus’, catering for netball, basketball, volleyball, and futsal. Earlier this week the Nor’West News reported that the complex could also house options such as 10-pin bowling, Laser Strike, and Clip ‘n Climb. It looks like the developers are asking the Council to commit to leasing the facility (at a ‘drop in the bucket’ cost of $1.5 million a year) before the development goes ahead.
