Following public consultation in July, Council staff have recommended that a 30km/h speed zone be implemented for Sisson Dr, Restell St, Winston Ave, and part of Langdons Rd. The majority of public submissions on this proposal were in favour of the 30km/h limit, and only five out of a total of 49 opposed any form of speed reduction. A number of other suggestions were made by members of the public, including improvements to mall intersections. Mall intersection concerns ‘have been passed on to Northlands Mall management’ but no other action appears planned within the current project.
