Delayed delivery of a key ingredient in the low noise asphalt layer for the Christchurch Northern Corridor motorway means work won’t be starting this month as had been planned. Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency – South Island has advised today that asphalt work is now expected to start “early in the new year”, with completion still expected around April 2022.
