Boards recommend reduced speed for Marshland Rd
The 70km/h section of Marshland Road could be reduced to 60km/h, if the Council accepts the recommendation of the Waipapa/Papanui-Innes and Waitai/Coastal-Burwood Community Boards. Advice from Council staff is that 60km/h is the safe speed for the current design of the road, and that it is unfeasible to re-engineer the road to make it safe at 70km/h.
