On Saturday 10 October the public can join in planting some of the 40,000 kahikatea trees planned for the Cranford Basin. Wear gumboots, bring your own tools and gloves if you have them, and meet at 103 Philpotts Road. The event runs from 10am to 12pm, with a BBQ lunch to finish.
