The Papanui ward forms part of the Christchurch North constituency in the represntation arrangements being proposed by the Canterbury Regional Council (ECan). Background: since the 2016 election ECan has had a mix of elected and appointed members, but from 2019 will return to a fully democratically elected Council. You can make a submission on ECan’s proposal online, you can post or hand deliver a submission form, or send an email.
