Consultation opportunity: changes on Main North Road to give buses priority. The Christchurch City Council is seeking public feedback on proposed changes aimed at giving buses priority on Main North Rd and improving traffic flows. See this video for a fly-through of the proposals, and click through for more information and an online form to have your say. Consultation closes on 17 November.
Council Transport Planning and Delivery Manager Lynette Ellis says the proposed changes will not only make it easier for people to bus but also improve traffic flows and make Papanui a more people-friendly place.
