I posted about a Santa photo fundraiser being run by Northcote School – the deadline to book a spot is today, 6 December.
Resurfacing on Cranford Street has been on the go-slow, but the CNC Alliance has announced a resumption of the work.
Top post of the week was news that the Papanui end of Harewood Road was closed last Sunday morning due to an accident at the railway line.
The China Kitchen, closed due to the Guy Fawkes fire, is hunting for a new site in the Papanui area.
The public hearing into the Resource Consent application for a PAK’nSAVE supermarket on Main North Road took place this week.
The Rotary Club of Papanui has drawn a winner in their fundraising raffle.

Coming up:
- Tonight from 6pm is the School’s Out pool party at Jellie Park, for young people in school years 7 to 13.
- This Tuesday 10 December there’ll be a community weeding morning at Papanui Bush.
- In the evening on Tuesday the Redwood Business & Residents Group will meet.
