Our local Community Board initiated Neighbourhood Week back in 1998. Now known as ‘Summer with your neighbours’, this is an opportunity to apply to the Council for funding to support a local gathering. Applications are open from today until 16 August, and funding can be used from 25 October right through to late March 2020. Last year’s funding allocations ranged from $20 to $200. Snag summer subsidy for neighbourly Christchurch party
“Everybody needs good neighbours and from today anyone can apply to the Christchurch City Council for a “Summer with your neighbours” subsidy to help host a big – or small – local gathering.”
