Nor’West News: ‘Papanui traffic report stalled’?
A headline in this week’s Nor’West News is ‘Papanui traffic report stalled’, in reference to a Council report first requested in 2017 and yet to be released. The Waipapa/ Papanui Innes Community Board however has stated in a Facebook post today that “the Roading report is not and has not been stalled”. Board chairwoman Ali Jones states in the article that the report release “will come soon”.

Bomb squad Papanui call out – “no risk to the public”
Main North Road / Langdons Road outside the Papanui Police Station was closed for a time on Thursday evening due to a suspicious item, but “the item turned out to be of no risk to the public”. Thanks to the person to alerted Think Papanui to this story:
