There’ll be night works on drainage and street lighting at the QEII Drive / Main North Road intersection for the next week or so as part of the Christchurch Northern Corridor (CNC) project. The intersection should remain open in all directions – see this flyer for details.

From today 14 November for about a week there’ll be no entry into McFaddens Road from Cranford Street. Weston Road is the suggested detour. See this notice from the Christchurch Northern Corridor project for details.

There's been road works on Sturrocks Road by the railway line recently, with a closure & detour in place. Think Papanui hasn't been able to find much information online about what's happening, but when visiting this evening the road was still closed eastbound. On the bright side, it looks like the works are nearly finished, so it may be open again very soon.
