A crash on Main North Rd , near Vagues Rd, is causing some delays northbound. The crash is occupying the bus lane and is causing minor delays only at the moment. ^SM
The Christchurch City Council Strengthening Communities Fund supports community-focused organisations whose projects contribute to the strengthening of community wellbeing in the Christchurch city area. Strengthening Communities Fund
The 2018/19 Strengthening Communities Fund is open for applications from Tuesday 3 April 2018 and will close at midnight Tuesday 8 May 2018.
At last Friday’s meeting, the Papanui-Innes Community Board: approved three applications to the Positive Youth Development Fund; approved an application by Te Ora Hou Ōtautahi to the Discretionary Response Fund; and granted $7,000 from its Discretionary Response Fund towards the second phase of the Papanui Bush planting programme. Speed limit changes are being proposed in the Harewood area, including a proposed reduction to 60km/h for the top end of Harewood & Sawyers Arms Roads, as well as Styx Mill Road and part of Gardiners Road. Due to a crash on Main North Rd the road is currently down to one lane northbound past the intersection with Northwood Blvd and Radcliffe Rd. Motorists are advised to take extra care and expect some delays.^SM
