On 15 August 2024, the Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central Community Board:
- received public forum presentations from two members of the public;
- approved time-restricted parking on North Avon Road;
- approved over $200,000 in Strengthening Community Fund grants;
- allocated $25,500 to board projects including youth recreation and Summer With Your Neighbours;
- approved a grant to St Pauls Papanui Anglican Parish for the replacement of community seating;
- and received an area report with an overview of initiatives and issues within the Community Board area.
The Board will next meet on 12 September.
